Authors
Nguyen Thi Thao Anh, Nguyen Ba Dien
Abstract
The increasing international and regional
integration of Vietnam could have negative impacts on the country’s natural
resources and environment. The participation of Vietnam in the Comprehensive
and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, ASEAN Economic
Community, and other global and regional economic institutions has posed great
pressures and challenges to the establishment, enforcement, and amendment of
laws. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of Vietnamese laws which
is expected to serve as a basis for the establishment of Vietnam’s trade
barriers in general and environmental trade barriers in particular.
