Abstract
The legal profession is undergoing a significant transformation with
the increasing adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This paper explores
the growing influence of AI on the legal profession, examining its
opportunities, challenges, and implications. Through a review of existing
literature and case studies, this paper analyses the current state of AI in
law, its applications, and its potential benefits, including increased
efficiency, cost savings, and improved accuracy. The paper also examines the
challenges and concerns surrounding AI adoption, including job displacement,
bias, and ethical considerations. Furthermore, the paper discusses the
implications of AI on the legal profession, including the need for lawyers to
develop new skills, the potential for new business models, and the importance
of regulatory frameworks. The findings of this study highlight the need for a
nuanced understanding of the impact of AI on the legal profession and the
importance of responsible AI adoption to ensure that its benefits are realized
while its risks are mitigated.
