Abstract
The components of political mobility and the
decline in atrocities that lead to greater social mobility will be examined in
this study. Social mobility fosters "effective political
participation" and noble occupations. The Constitution
recognizes the existence of scheduled castes, which are part of the Dalit
community. Despite the abolition of the caste system in India through
constitutional provisions, political and social movements, and legal measures,
scheduled castes still face discrimination and bias within the nation. This paper aims to comprehend the evolving meaning of traditional
beliefs such as the formation of shudras from feet, being a "servant of
another," and having the ability to be banished at will. We will also
evaluate the function and significance of political mobility in granting
entitlement to law ownership, self-respect, empowerment, and sociopolitical
leadership. A noteworthy matter that requires our attention is the exploitation
of the impoverished and disadvantaged members of their own caste by the wealthy
segment of the scheduled castes, or the elite class.
