Abstract
The music industry plays a vital role in the global economy, providing
entertainment, cultural expression, and employment opportunities to millions of
people worldwide. With the rise of digital technologies and the internet, the
music industry has undergone significant transformations, presenting both
opportunities and challenges. In this context, intellectual property rights
(IPRs) have become increasingly important for artists, record labels, and other
stakeholders involved in the creation, production, and distribution of music.
Intellectual property rights refer to legal rights that protect intangible
creations of the human mind, such as inventions, literary and artistic works,
trademarks, and trade secrets.
