The automation of aviation is profoundly
reshaping the sector, with unprecedented advancements in safety, efficiency,
and capacity for operations. This research paper investigates the intricate
interplay between automation and aviation, exploring the legal frameworks and
challenges emanating from the incorporation of advanced technologies in
aviation operations. The intersection of law and technology through autonomous
drones and AI-supported air traffic management systems also presents potential
as much as challenges. This comprehensive analysis spans international
treaties, court decisions, and regulatory efforts to regulate these innovations
while ensuring safety and compliance. Highlighting the need for legal
frameworks to catch up with technological advancements, the essay also offers
